Mauritania’s Water Shortage

Water is often scarce in Mauritania. Its mostly desert. While Mauritania works hard to provide water for its citizens, in recent years it has also had to cope with vast numbers of refugees spilling across the border from Mali. This really stretches the resources!

Scriptures to pray over Mauritania :

As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God? My tears have been my food day and night, while people say to me all day long, “Where is your God?”. Psalm 42 : 1-3

Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him. Rev 22:1-3

Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them. John 7:38
