Can You Have Faith for North Africa?

Source: Ffald-y-Brenin

Do you ever find it hard to really believe that God’s Kingdom can grow in North Africa? Yes, the work can be hard and slow. And yet, we hear more and more stories of how the Church is growing all across North Africa. Do you find it easier now to imagine, than 10 years ago? I do!!

The dictionary definition of Faith says:

FAITH
Noun–Complete trust and confidence in someone or something.

God’s Word brings even more depth to a definition of faith:

Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. Hebrews 11:1 (NIV)
NOW FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses]. Hebrews 11:1 (Amplified Bible)
Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see. Hebrews 11:1 (New Living Translation)
Faith makes us sure of what we hope for and gives us proof of what we cannot see. Hebrews 11:1 (Contemporary English Version)

With these definitions in your heart, will you join us in praying the Caleb Prayer? This is a simple prayer coming out of the Ffald-y-Brenin community in Wales. You can make it specific to North Africa if you wish. You could pray this prayer every day and make it specific to the Nth African nation that we are focusing on each day of the week.

The Caleb Prayer:

O High King of heaven,
Have mercy on our Land.
Revive your Church;
Send the Holy Spirit for the sake of the children.
May your kingdom come to our nation.
In Jesus’ mighty name.
Amen
